Project Management Workshop
PMBOK Café is a Project Management Facilitated Workshop. Project Management Professionals study and discuss The Fourth Edition PMBOK® Guide. PMBOK Café's goal is new Project Management knowledge creation. The Buzzwords are Knowledge, Networking and New Ideas.
Each workshop is an opportunity to meet experienced Project Managers and to explore Project Management Areas of Knowledge. Each Participant has the opportunity to share his or her knowledge. Participants cooperate and work together to understand each other's knowledge and collaborate to create new knowledge. Collectively, each workshop will document this process to give back to the Project Management Community.
Participants earn PDU or Professional Development Units. The entire process aligns with The Fourth Edition PMBOK® Guide Scope Management "Collect Requirements" and other good project management people skills. The novelty is how PMBOK Café ties together emerging social networking technology to solve problems. Participants learn analog games and use digital collaboration for example Cloud Computing, Social Networking, and other tools along with face-to-face and formal meetings to arrive at the goal of knowledge creation.
